If you’re like me — not keen on spending hours planning trips but still want to soak in all of Bali’s beauty — I highly recommend adding Klook day tours to your itinerary! During our 7-day, 6-night Bali free & easy trip, we booked three Klook day tours (Day 2, Day 4, and Day 6), and each one was both relaxing and exciting. It was the ultimate ‘sleep on the bus, snap photos at the stops’ experience, and I want to share it with anyone looking to explore Bali effortlessly ❤️

7-Day 6-Night Bali Free & Easy Travelogue 3 Klook Day Tours

This trip was planned to be stress-free, allowing us to leisurely enjoy Bali’s vacation vibes while exploring famous landmarks, hidden gems, and local culture. I have to say: Klook is truly a lifesaver for free & easy travelers!

🛬 Day 1: Arrival in Bali — Time to Relax!

After landing at Denpasar Airport, we took our pre-booked airport transfer to our hotel in Sanur, located on Bali’s east coast. Sanur is a tranquil seaside town in southeastern Bali, known for its laid-back atmosphere and slow pace of life, making it a favorite among families and long-term visitors. With its long coastal walkway and sunrise beach, Sanur is perfect for morning strolls, cycling, and swimming. Unlike the bustling Kuta, it exudes a relaxing, elegant charm.

We stayed at Griya Santrian, a beachfront resort where you can step onto the sand just a few steps from the pool — ideal for water lovers or beach enthusiasts. The resort maintains traditional Balinese architecture with serene garden landscapes. It also offers SPA services, yoga classes, and a seaside restaurant, making it perfect for travelers looking to embrace the ‘slow life’ charm of Sanur.

📸 Day 2: Klook’s “East Bali Instagram Hotspots Tour” 🌋🌴

Today’s highlight was Klook’s “East Bali Instagram Hotspots Day Tour,” our first Klook activity of the trip. The tour accommodates as few as two people, and the option for a Chinese-speaking guide was perfect for first-time visitors like us who wanted to delve deeper into the local culture.

We departed promptly at 7:30 AM from our hotel, with private transfers making the journey seamless. A quick nap later, we arrived at our first stop: the famous Lempuyang Temple, also known as the “Gates of Heaven.” Capturing the iconic symmetrical mirror reflection here was absolutely magical! 📷⛩️ Our guide explained the temple’s sacred origins, enriching our experience beyond just taking photos.

Next, we visited Swing Heaven, which offered more than just swings—there were multiple Instagram-worthy spots for stunning photos. 🌺 Our guide even helped with angles, showcasing top-notch photography skills!

By midday, we arrived at the serene Tirta Gangga Water Palace, a former royal bathing site. The pools were filled with koi fish, and we could buy fish food to feed them or stroll across the stepping stones—a delightful experience! 🐟💦

Finally, we explored the majestic Taman Ujung Water Palace. Less crowded and tranquil, it was the perfect place to quietly admire the harmonious blend of architecture and water.

The final stop was my favorite Virgin Beach, a hidden gem far from the hustle and bustle. With crystal-clear waters and pristine white sand, and few locals around, it’s the perfect spot to unwind, soak up the sun, and sip on fresh coconut water 🌞🥥.

Day 2: Klook's "East Bali Instagram Hotspots Tour"

We headed back around 17:30, wrapping up a full yet unhurried day. Not having to navigate or worry about transportation made the experience super stress-free!

🌿 Day 3: Ubud Half-Day Free Exploration + SPA Time

After waking up naturally, we checked out from Sanur and headed to Ubud Market for a leisurely stroll. We tried Ubud’s famous crispy roast pork rice and then indulged in a 90-minute Balinese aromatherapy massage at a SPA center.

Ubud is the cultural heart of Bali, surrounded by rice fields, forests, and traditional villages. It’s the ideal place to connect with nature, art, and spirituality. In Ubud, you can join yoga classes, visit craft villages, experience Balinese temple culture, and relax in many high-quality villas.

How can you visit Bali without indulging in a villa!? The Ayuterra Resort we stayed at was a VILLA that made me never want to leave the pool🏞️. The room was stylish and spacious, with an outdoor private infinity pool directly facing the Ayung River Gorge—every moment felt like a postcard📸. Spending the night stargazing in the pool and waking up to birdsong in the morning was the most relaxing and romantic night of my Ubud trip❤️. Highly recommended for couples on their honeymoon or celebrating a special occasion!

🌿 Day 4: Klook “Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour”|Culture & Nature All-in-One, Unlock the Essence of Ubud in a Day!

On this day, we booked the 【Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour】 on Klook, which also offers Chinese-speaking guides, but we were accompanied by the amazing English-speaking driver Yogi for the entire trip. He was incredibly patient, planned the most efficient and crowd-free route, and even took care of parking fees at each spot—no extra costs, truly thoughtful!

We departed from the hotel at 08:30 AM, with our first stop being the stunning UNESCO World Heritage site—Tegallalang Rice Terraces. The layered rice fields resembled green waves, and the scenery was breathtaking—every photo looked like a dreamy postcard! 🌾📷

Day 4: Klook "Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour"|Culture & Na

Next, we experienced the classic Ubud swing, and the moment we swung out was both thrilling and fun! With the lush tropical rainforest and valley below, it felt like we were flying in a movie scene!

Day 4: Klook "Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour"|Culture & Na

Our third stop was the Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, the natural habitat of Bali’s long-tailed monkeys. While the monkeys are lively and curious, as long as you don’t feed or provoke them, there’s no danger. The guide even taught us how to maintain a safe distance—a unique and fascinating experience 🐒🌳

For lunch, Yogi picked a restaurant with an incredible view, where we enjoyed our meal overlooking the rice fields—perfect ambiance (thanks to his impeccable planning!).

After lunch, we headed to Tirta Empul Temple, a spot I had been eagerly anticipating. The holy spring within the temple is said to possess purifying energy, and many local devotees and tourists enter the pool to undergo the ritual cleansing. Although I didn’t step into the water, sitting quietly nearby and observing this scene of devotion brought an unexpected sense of peace to my heart 🙏💧.

Day 4: Klook "Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour"|Culture & Na

Our final stop was the popular Tegenungan Waterfall in Ubud. The waterfall is truly spectacular, with its roaring waters creating a breathtaking sight. However, it felt a bit too crowded and commercialized for my taste, with many visitors playing in the water and taking photos. I didn’t stay long, but this might vary depending on personal preferences.

Day 4: Klook "Ubud Highlights Private Day Tour"|Culture & Na

Around 17:00, we returned to the hotel, wrapping up a nearly 10-hour journey that was both fulfilling and surprisingly not exhausting. A special shoutout to our driver Yogi, who was incredibly kind and not only planned the itinerary perfectly but also helped us avoid peak crowds. He’s definitely worth recommending!

If you’re planning a trip to Ubud, this day tour is an excellent way to quickly get acquainted with this cultural town, especially if you prefer not to drive yourself and want to capture plenty of photos 📸💛.

🔥 Day 6: Uluwatu Cliff Kecak Fire Dance & Suluban Secret Beach Private Tour|A Journey That Shakes the Senses and Soul!

On this day, we opted for the 【Uluwatu Cliff Temple Kecak Fire Dance & Suluban Beach Private Tour】, which offers the option of a Chinese-speaking guide. Our driver and guide this time was the incredibly cool Mr. Tawan! He was both passionate and street-smart, deeply knowledgeable about the history and culture of each stop—whether it was the meaning behind the Kecak dance, the architecture of Uluwatu Temple, or the formation of the beach, he provided rich and insightful explanations. 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 This journey became even more complete because of him!

⛱️ 09:00 Departure → 11:00 Padang Padang Beach

Our first stop was the hidden gem—Padang Padang Beach. Surrounded by lush cliffs, reaching this beach requires navigating through a narrow rocky path, adding a sense of adventure! The beach is small but boasts fine white sand and crystal-clear blue waters, making it a perfect spot for swimming and photography 🌊📸.

🍴 12:30 Lunchtime

We chose our own spot for lunch, and Tawan thoughtfully recommended a restaurant with ocean views. Enjoying grilled fish with coconut water while watching surfers ride the waves was pure bliss — so chill!

🏝️ 14:00 Blue Point Beach (Suluban Beach)

Next, we headed to Suluban Beach, also known as “Blue Point Beach,” a secret paradise for surfers. Surrounded by massive caves, during low tide, you can walk deep into the caverns and explore small pools — it feels mysterious and adventurous! It’s like discovering a “secret hideout for adults” 🏄‍♂️

🛕 16:30 Uluwatu Temple

Perched on a cliff, this ancient temple is not only one of Bali’s six sacred temples but also an incredible spot to admire the Indian Ocean’s majestic views. The monkeys here are playful and cute, but keep an eye on your belongings (sunglasses and hats, especially!). With our guide, we learned about Uluwatu Temple’s history and religious significance, gaining a deeper understanding of the locals’ reverence for nature and the divine.

🔥 18:00 Kecak Fire Dance Performance (Highlight: No queue entry!)

This performance was truly one of the highlights of our trip! The Kecak Dance doesn’t rely on any instruments but instead uses the rhythmic “chak-chak-chak” chanting of dozens of bare-chested men to create an atmosphere. Combined with fire dancing and interactive scenes, it brings the epic tale of the Indian classic Ramayana to life! The show begins at sunset and ends with bursts of fire and cheers from the crowd — the atmosphere was absolutely electrifying 🔥🔥🔥

🧳 Day 7: Packing Up, Heading Home!

Reluctantly packing up our luggage, preparing to return to the real world. Although this was a self-guided trip, thanks to Klook’s three day tours, I was able to explore the diverse landscapes of Bali without any stress. Highly recommended for travelers who want to enjoy their trip without worrying about the itinerary!

Day Tour FAQ

1. Q: How many people are needed to form a private guided tour on Klook?

A: Yes! Most private guided tours on Klook require only 2 people, do not merge groups, and are even suitable for solo travelers, so there’s no need to worry about gathering enough people. Whether it’s couples, best friends, or families, everyone can easily enjoy a private driver-guided tour with more flexible itineraries.

2. Q: Can I choose a Chinese-speaking guide?

A: Some tours offer the option of a Chinese-speaking guide, so please pay special attention to the ‘Language’ field when booking. If a Chinese-speaking guide is not available, most tours come with an English-speaking guide or a local driver. You can also contact the local driver in advance via WhatsApp to communicate your needs.

3. Q: Does the tour include tickets, lunch, or parking fees?

A: Each itinerary varies slightly. Some include entrance fees and lunch, but most will specify “meals at your own expense” or “entrance fees not included.” For example, our Ubud day trip doesn’t require additional parking fees at any of the attractions, but lunch is self-funded. We recommend reading the details carefully or consulting customer service before departure.

4. Q: Will the driver accompany us into the attractions?

A: Yes! Most tours are “guided private car services,” where the driver will accompany you into the attractions, provide explanations, take photos, and assist with ticket purchases. However, if you choose the English-speaking driver option, you may explore some attractions on your own.

5. Q: Can the itinerary be customized? Can we change the route midway?

A: Generally, no, but some private tours offer more flexibility. You can inquire with customer service or the driver in advance about minor adjustments to the route (e.g., swapping an attraction or extending the stay time), but this depends on traffic and time constraints on the day.

6. Q: If we’re staying in different areas, like Ubud or Jimbaran, can we still get pick-up service?

A: Yes, but the pick-up range and fees may vary depending on the area. Most tours offer “free pick-up” in areas like Kuta, Seminyak, Sanur, and Ubud. Other areas may require an additional fee or confirmation of availability.

7. Q: Will the day trip feel rushed?

A: Klook’s itineraries are designed to be “moderately paced,” lasting about 8 to 10 hours per day. While there are many attractions scheduled, private tours aren’t rushed, and the driver will help adjust the route to avoid crowds. For example, we arrived early before the Kecak Fire Dance performance, skipping the queue and enhancing the experience!

8. Q: Do we need to prepare cash?

A: It’s highly recommended to carry some Indonesian Rupiah in cash. While many attractions and restaurants accept credit cards, places like Ubud Traditional Market, fire dance tickets, and temple donations still require cash.

9. Q: Will there be traffic jams? Is there buffer time?

A: Traffic peaks in Bali can lead to congestion, but Klook drivers usually avoid these times by departing during off-peak hours or adjusting the route sequence to bypass heavy traffic.

10. Q: How can I contact the driver or guide?

A: Klook will provide the driver’s contact information before your trip. It’s recommended to download WhatsApp, as it’s the most commonly used communication tool in Bali. You can confirm pickup times and guide languages in advance.

11. Q: Are there more day tours to choose from?

A: Klook offers over 100 Bali day tours. It’s advisable to select highly-rated tours based on the area you’re staying in.
