Bottom line first: For Jimbaran seafood, it depends on what you’re after—if you want beach seating with sunset views, go for the classic favorite Menega Cafe (be sure to grab a spot before 5:30 PM in peak season and order early); if you’re after resort-level views and quality, head to Kisik Bar and Grill at Ayana Resort (includes complimentary appetizers, sit outdoors for the best experience). All 11 restaurants weigh and price by the kilo with transparent pricing—no tricks. See below for seating tips and the latest market prices.

11 Best Seafood Restaurants on Jimbaran Beach
Menega Cafe
For years, Menega has been one of the most popular beach cafes in Jimbaran. On the surface, it doesn’t look much different from other restaurants, but it consistently draws a steady stream of visitors year-round. To snag a good table before the crowds roll in (usually around 5:30 PM), it’s best to arrive early. Also, placing your order as soon as possible is key—otherwise, you might face a long wait! Nearly everything on the menu is delicious. The giant prawns, spicy grilled snapper, and clams drenched in a flavorful garlic chili sauce are outstanding! You can also enjoy Jimbaran’s sunset from your beachside table, making this a perfect romantic dining spot.
Kisik Bar and Grill at Ayana Resort and Spa
Located within the Ayana Resort on Jimbaran Bay in Bali, Kisik Bar and Grill offers two of our favorite things: fresh, delicious seafood and stunning views of the bay. Kisik Bar and Grill serves a variety of freshly caught seafood, including large crabs, juicy oysters, and squid. The restaurant offers a set menu that includes complimentary appetizers and your choice of seafood. In addition to seafood, they also have meat and vegetarian options. For the best experience, we recommend dining outdoors to enjoy the most beautiful views!
Cuca Restaurant
Cuca is famous as a tapas restaurant, but don’t overlook its seafood dishes! Located near the Kayumanis Jimbaran Inn, this restaurant offers three different dining areas: a food bar, a traditional dining area, and a garden lounge. Its location allows the chef to select the freshest catch of the day, offering perfectly grilled prawns, smoked squid, and seafood rice that has become a delicious staple. We also love the open kitchen, where you can watch your meal being made from scratch while you wait! ▶Cuca deals here
Sundara Bali
Though Sundara Bali doesn’t bill itself as a seafood restaurant, it consistently tops the list of the best seafood spots in Jimbaran. Located at the Four Seasons Resort, Sundara Bali blends five-star dining with a relaxed beach club vibe. The restaurant’s open kitchen and semi-open dining area overlook the resort’s famous infinity pool. ▶Four Seasons JimbaranSundara dining deals

Xiao Jie dined at Lia Café in 2023, and a ten-person set meal including tax and service charge cost about USD$80, leaving everyone very satisfied!

Made Bagus Café Jimbaran
This is a popular restaurant located on Jimbaran Beach. They offer various set meal combinations with clearly marked prices, and this place only adds a 10% tax at the end. Wr Mang Ayu ex Waroenk Djadoel
Many people associate Jimbaran sunset seafood with being ‘overpriced and not tasty,’ right? But Wr Mang Ayu (formerly Waroenk Djadoel) completely overturns that stereotype. This small eatery was our second visit—when we first came in early 2023, we just ordered a simple meal with beer, but were deeply impressed by the affordable prices and delicious flavors. This time, we returned specifically to enjoy dinner here at sunset, and it didn’t disappoint. For a set meal costing around USD$19, we got one lobster, one fish, four grilled prawns, clams, squid skewers, stir-fried vegetables, white rice, and a bottle of water. The lobster wasn’t huge, but the flavor was top-notch. The owner’s family was warm and welcoming, and paired with the priceless Jimbaran sunset, this meal became the perfect memory of our last night in Bali. (Provided by Li Qiuxiong)
Pandan Sari Café
A highly-rated Jimbaran sunset seafood restaurant on Klook. The restaurant serves fresh crab, large prawns, clams, and grilled fish, paired with unique Indonesian spices and water spinach. Whether for a family gathering or a romantic date, it’s an excellent choice for experiencing local coastal flavors and a relaxed atmosphere. Check out the restaurant reviews here.

Tips for Choosing a Restaurant
It’s important to note that Jimbaran Beach offers a wide variety of dining options, and most restaurants operate honestly. However, there are indeed a small number of dishonest vendors who try to take advantage of tourists—when they hear customers speaking English, they may bring out a menu with inflated prices. This can happen in some popular tourist spots, so it’s wise to be extra careful when choosing a restaurant. Here are some tips to help you avoid such situations:

👇 Insider Deals for Bali 👇
- Research Restaurants: Before heading to Jimbaran Beach, it’s a good idea to do some online research to find well-reviewed and reputable restaurants. Reading reviews and travel site recommendations can help you identify trustworthy places.
- Ask About Prices: Once seated, don’t hesitate to ask about the price range or request to see the menu. This can help prevent any unpleasant surprises.
- Compare Prices: If you feel a price is too high, try comparing it with other restaurants. If there’s a big difference between several places, it might be a red flag. A reasonable average cost per person should be between IDR 150,000 and 300,000 (around USD$10 to $20).
- Use Translation Tools: If you’re unsure whether you’re being treated fairly, use a translation app or tool to communicate and make sure both sides understand the prices and order.
- Assess on the Spot: When choosing where to eat, you can also do a quick on-site evaluation. If you notice a restaurant’s prices are significantly higher than similar ones nearby, it may be wise to think twice before sitting down.
What if you don’t like seafood or can’t eat it? Are there still recommended restaurants in Jimbaran? Yes, there are! Check out Xiao Jie’s travel notes for great recommendations on non-seafood dishes, grilled corn on the beach, and more.
