If you’re looking for a vacation destination that allows you to relax while also leaving you in awe, then Six Senses Uluwatu in Bali is undoubtedly your best choice! This stay felt like a dreamy adventure, filled with surprises and curiosity, making me eager to share this wonderful memory with everyone.

Luxury on the Cliffs: Staying at Six Senses Uluwatu
Six Senses Uluwatu is perched on the cliffs of Uluwatu in Bali, overlooking the breathtaking Indian Ocean. As the final stop for a premium Uluwatu resort experience, this resort perfectly blends natural beauty, modern luxury, and sustainable tourism, offering guests an unforgettable vacation.

We booked a one-night stay through a booking platform for $476 (off-peak price). Although the price is steep, you’ll find every penny worth it the moment you step into this cliffside paradise! The hotel is about 5 km from Suluban Beach and 3.7 km from Padang Padang Beach. It’s also conveniently located just 11 km from Bali International Airport.
From the moment we entered the hotel, we were stunned by the view—the endless Indian Ocean stretched out before us, as if the entire world was at our feet. The hotel’s design combines modern luxury with natural elements, instantly creating a sense of tranquility and relaxation.
103 Private Villas: The Perfect Blend of Luxury and Privacy

Six Senses Uluwatu features 103 private villas, each boasting an infinity pool with ocean views and a central courtyard garden. The villas are incredibly spacious, designed with luxurious and modern aesthetics that make you never want to leave. Every room also includes an outdoor terrace offering breathtaking ocean views. The bathrooms are equipped with dual sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, premium toiletries, and high-tech toilets, ensuring ultimate comfort and convenience.
Ocean Golf: An Eco-Friendly and Fun Experience
One of the main reasons we chose Six Senses Uluwatu was to experience golf for the first time, and their Ocean Golf did not disappoint! Imagine hitting golf balls into the ocean, where they naturally decompose into fish food—eco-friendly and fun! Just reading about it makes you eager to try, right?

Unfortunately, on the first day, due to bad weather, we couldn’t experience this activity, and our spirits sank. After all, this was one of the main reasons we came! But Six Senses’ service is truly impeccable, and the staff arranged the experience for us the next day. Even though it was our first time playing golf and we were completely clueless, the thrill of hitting the ball into the ocean was exhilarating! It was definitely an unforgettable experience.

A Cliffside Turtle Encounter
While strolling along the hotel’s cliffs, we were amazed to spot turtles swimming gracefully in the crystal-clear waters below. This intimate encounter with nature instantly melted away all our worries. Six Senses Uluwatu isn’t just a resort—it’s more like an ecological paradise coexisting with nature.
Shuttle Rides: A Little Adventure
Given the vast expanse of the resort, getting around requires shuttle rides. Honestly, I thoroughly enjoyed these shuttle journeys! Especially during Bali’s rainy season, shortly after we checked in, it started pouring, and the sound of rain throughout the night was incredibly soothing. Although we couldn’t experience the outdoor movie due to the weather, my sister made a sunny-day doll, and miraculously, the next day cleared up! Was it magic?

Private Pools and Thoughtful Design: The Epitome of Luxury
Every room comes with a private pool, the ultimate symbol of luxury vacation! What’s more, the room key is actually a small wooden board, designed in an adorable way. The room is fully equipped with amenities including air conditioning, a flat-screen satellite TV, wireless speakers, and an organic coffee machine. Each room also features an outdoor terrace with breathtaking ocean views. The bathroom is outfitted with double sinks, indoor and outdoor showers, premium toiletries, and a high-tech toilet, offering unparalleled comfort and convenience.

In the afternoon, the hotel offers complimentary ice cream, made with fresh fruit! I tried the papaya flavor - it was like ‘super papaya’! The rich fruit aroma was unforgettable.
Special Treats for Furry Friends
Six Senses Uluwatu even caters to pets! We bought a souvenir for our dog at the hotel shop, and this thoughtful service warmed our hearts.

Culinary Delights and Spa: A Feast for the Senses
The hotel breakfast offers a lavish buffet with healthy options, energizing you for the day ahead. Rocka Restaurant serves a perfect fusion of Indonesian and international cuisine, emphasizing fresh and local ingredients. Meanwhile, Watu Steakhouse combines premium steaks with Japanese dishes, blending traditional and international flavors that will tantalize your taste buds.

During dinner, the restaurant provided a detailed introduction to Indonesian chili Sambal, with clear pictures on the menu. We ordered a simple pasta dish that turned out to be surprisingly delicious!

Additionally, the hotel’s spa experience is exceptional, featuring 8 treatment rooms, a relaxation lounge, hydrotherapy baths, sauna and steam rooms, an air-conditioned yoga pavilion, and a 24-hour fitness center. Don’t miss it if you’re here!

Little Surprise: Room Phone Ringtone
Finally, there’s a delightful little detail that will make you smile — the room phone’s ringtone is identical to an iPhone’s! Every time I heard it, I couldn’t help but laugh. These small surprises made the entire stay even more enjoyable.
Conclusion: One Night Is Simply Not Enough!

Six Senses Uluwatu is a flawless resort destination. From the breathtaking natural scenery to the thoughtful service, every detail brings surprise and satisfaction. The only regret is that one night is far too short! If you have the chance to visit Bali, don’t miss this cliffside paradise—it will undoubtedly leave you longing to return!
