With only 21 rooms and a soft opening in April 2025, it takes a boutique design approach. The parent group, Ekosistem, already has a solid reputation in Bali for eco-retreats and villas, and this is their first boutique hotel. Just hearing that background tells you they didn’t open this place casually.

For Bali regulars, this area is instantly familiar: step out onto Petitenget Street, and within a few minutes’ walk you’ll reach Potato Head Beach Club. Nearby are Sarong Asian Fusion Restaurant, Shiro Sushi (right next door, super convenient), and Amici Club is just across the street. Head toward the beach, and it’s about an 8-minute walk to Batu Belig Beach, with Petitenget Temple just 7 minutes away on foot.

The vibe of the entire Petitenget area strikes a balance between Seminyak’s refined nightlife and Canggu’s laid-back feel—it’s not a noisy tourist zone that keeps you up at night, but you can find restaurants, cafes, massage spots, and convenience stores all within walking distance. For travelers who claim to want “convenient access without too much hustle and bustle,” the location is a definite plus.

After check-in, the staff personally escorts you to your room for a guided tour, serves a welcome coconut drink, and the check-in process is smooth and efficient, with no delays.

For public facilities, the pool is on the rooftop and comes with a daytime pool bar. One thing to note: if you check out the pool at night, the water might look a bit cloudy, but based on guest feedback, it’s likely just the lighting—better to take a dip during the day. The spa has three treatment rooms, and hotel guests enjoy a 30% discount, which is quite generous. The massage reviews are also excellent, well worth fitting into your itinerary.

Additionally, there’s a complimentary Afternoon Tea from 3–5 PM, and the sweets and tea can even be delivered to your room—a nice touch that adds to the experience. The amenities are more generous than expected: a free minibar (but not restocked), unlimited glass-bottled water, small snacks and fruit, dual sinks, a bidet toilet, a rain shower plus handheld showerhead, a smart TV, a JBL Bluetooth speaker (with a built-in alarm clock—a very practical design), universal power outlets, and even a bottle of mineral water specifically for brushing your teeth. The room’s lighting ambiance has also been particularly praised by guests, with overall quality and details far exceeding options in the same price range.

One minor drawback: there are no hanging ‘Please Clean’ or ‘Do Not Disturb’ signs in the room. Instead, the front desk will ask each morning if you’d like your room tidied up—easy to get used to, but first-time guests might need a moment to adjust.
