First: Surfing Experience
The first must-do is to try surfing. The trio took a surfing lesson in Canggu, where they not only enjoyed a two-hour session but also witnessed a stunning Bali sunset. She marveled at the indescribably vibrant sunset, with its rich layers of color, calling it the most breathtaking sunset she had ever seen.

Second: Island Hopping to Nusa Penida
The next activity is heading to the offshore island of Nusa Penida. To get there faster, they chose to stay in Sanur, which has a pier and offers just a 30-minute boat ride to the island. The next morning, they joined a day trip to Nusa Penida. Their first stop was Crystal Bay, a Wi-Fi-free, completely secluded paradise where they planned to soak in the beauty and temporarily escape the world. Upon arrival, they expected a small group of 30 to 40 people, but instead, over 150 people disembarked together, swarming out like a flock of ducks. Surprisingly, they were assigned to private mini tour vehicles, with just four per group, making the experience much more relaxed.

After arriving on Nusa Penida, they leisurely enjoyed breakfast, drank beer, and played with stray dogs on the beach at Crystal Bay. Although she felt the beach scenery there wasn’t particularly outstanding, the water was as clear as Long Ke Wan. Next, they headed to other famous spots like Angels Billabong and Broken Beach. Despite the crowds, the geological landscapes there were still incredibly striking. Finally, they arrived at a dinosaur-shaped turquoise beach, where the seawater displayed beautiful gradients of blue, leaving them in awe.

Experiencing unique accommodations in Bali is a must. They stayed in a rustic bamboo villa in Ubud, which cost just USD$64 per night and came with a private pool, kitchen, and two bedrooms—an incredible value. The villa’s design was ingenious, with a private pool at the entrance and a lounge area by the pool perfect for small parties. Beyond admiring the scenery, trying the swings is a must-do in Bali. They visited Aloha Ubud, which features six swing spots for photos. The entrance fee was just USD$6 per person, and they could even rent various wedding gowns for dreamy bridal shots. The staff carefully guided them on poses and angles to capture the perfect moment. While the women could swing longer for photos, the men only got a few brief turns to avoid accidents. However, safety ropes ensured everyone’s security.

The final stop of the trip was a famous hidden waterfall in Ubud. They had to walk a short mountain path to see the magnificent full view of the waterfall, which was packed with people taking photos. However, this spot offers thoughtful basic facilities like lockers, restrooms, and changing rooms. It only takes five minutes to reach the waterfall photo area. The staff at the waterfall are very professional, guiding visitors on angles and poses, and she was happy to tip for the best views. For next time, she suggests bringing an extra change of clothes, as swimming in the waterfall can leave you feeling chilly.
Ubud is not only famous for its culture and art but also boasts breathtaking natural landscapes, with waterfalls being a must-visit.
