Perched on the southern cliffs of Bali, this resort is best known for its stunning three-tiered infinity pool that seems to stretch out to the sea. The video highlights the iconic ‘Nest Bar’—the perfect sunset viewing spot where bartenders serve you signature cocktails as you gaze down at the Indian Ocean a hundred meters below.
The 215-square-meter private villa is breathtaking: an outdoor rain shower surrounded by tropical plants, and a private pool with ocean views. Check-in comes with a special ritual—staff present your passport and credit card in an elegant wooden box.
For dining, the Indonesian dishes at Warung restaurant come highly recommended. The chef grills lobster right on volcanic stone, paired with a special sambal sauce. The video also captures a fun moment when a monkey suddenly dashes into the pool area.
Although the resort lacks a beach, the cliffside spa more than makes up for it. Notably, the entire resort’s drainage system is specially designed so that even crashing waves won’t splash guests.

Having visited Ayana and many other villas, this is probably the most stunning villa we’ve ever stayed in. Even though the weather wasn’t great—overcast and rainy—it didn’t diminish the villa’s magnificent views, perched atop the Uluwatu cliffs. Every penny was worth it. We had the most beautiful views in Bali, amazing breakfast, and attentive service, with a shuttle always available to take us between the villa and the main area. The villa is spacious and impeccably maintained. We took maternity photos here and can’t wait to see the results. The facilities are excellent—the cafe/Cire restaurant sits right by the main pool, where we enjoyed breakfast with our cousins overlooking the cliffs and blue sky. It was an unforgettable experience for all of us. The coffee and breakfast quality were top-notch—I had the best croissant in Bali here. I definitely want to bring my mom here soon. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it an 11!
