【Room Tour】Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach|Bali’s Most Magical Beach Resort, with Six Restaurants So You Never Go Hungry!
Bottom Line: Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach is perfect for travelers who want direct beach access, plenty of dining options, and Instagram-worthy shots—it’s the largest Indigo resort in Southeast Asia, with six restaurants, three pools, and entry-level rooms starting at 50㎡. Just steps from the beach to catch the sunset; the only downside is that basic rooms don’t come with a bathtub.
✨ This time, I’m taking you inside a hotel I’ve recently fallen in love with: Hotel Indigo Bali Seminyak Beach! Not only is the location perfect and the design enchanting, but it’s also the largest Indigo resort in Southeast Asia, with six restaurants alone—so you’ll never go hungry or run out of choices!

From the room design to the pools, common areas, and even the housekeeping service, I was blown away. It’s the most satisfying Indigo stay I’ve had after visiting the ones in Hakone, Dazhi, Alishan, and Kaohsiung. Let’s dive into five key highlights below 👇
✅ Five Key Highlights at a Glance
1️⃣ Six restaurants offer plenty of variety, from buffets and à la carte to poolside bars 2️⃣ The hotel exudes a magical, Harry Potter-meets-Bali vibe with its ornate design 3️⃣ Entry-level rooms are a spacious 50㎡ with great design, but bathtubs aren’t standard—a slight letdown
2️⃣ 飯店整體充滿峇里島版霍格華茲的魔幻華麗感
3️⃣ 基本房型即有50㎡,設計感十足,但浴缸不是標配略可惜
4️⃣ The hotel features three swimming pools, with the largest one being both photogenic and fun to swim in.
5️⃣ Right next to the beach — just a few steps to catch the sunset or take a dip.

🍴 Six Restaurants at a Glance (A Hotel That Won’t Let You Go Hungry)
Sugarsand (Dinner & À La Carte Breakfast)

With ocean views, DJ music, and stunning decor, this spot serves Japanese fusion cuisine. Dinner plating is photogenic and flavors are decent, but the service is outstanding—they even brought a free birthday cake and sang for us, which was incredibly touching. For breakfast, go for the à la carte option—it’s way better than the buffet! Highly recommend the French brioche, Indonesian fried noodles, and dragon fruit bowl.
Non-guests can also enjoy a refined three-course lunch or a lavish four-course dinner at Sugarsand, savoring creative dishes paired with ocean views.
Laze by the pool, sip cocktails, and soak up the tranquility of this tropical oasis. SugarSand is Seminyak’s most vibrant beachfront haven, blending food, drinks, music, and culture—the perfect spot to unwind and soak in the Bali vibe.
Makase (Breakfast Buffet)

The dining atmosphere is fantastic, with both indoor and semi-outdoor seating options. The restaurant is decorated so much like the Great Hall of Hogwarts! Longans are peeled, pomelos are pre-separated, and desserts are neatly lined up—thoughtful to the max.
Cave Pool Lounge (Poolside Bar)

The drink prices are incredibly reasonable: a large pitcher of fruit tea costs just USD$8, and cocktails are equally affordable at USD$8 each. Happy Hour offers buy-one-get-one-free deals, and sipping drinks while soaking in the pool is pure bliss.
🏊♂️ Pools, Gym & ME Space
- Three pools in total, with the largest being the most popular. They even hand out cucumber slices for face masks—first time I’ve encountered that! 🤣
- Jacuzzi & Instagram-worthy pool: Perfect for photo ops
- 24-hour gym: They even have TRX equipment, fully stocked, but it’s in a secretive spot—finding it feels like an adventure
- Lounge: Magical design that truly feels like entering a wizard school! There’s even a hidden door connecting to other facilities, which is super fun
- ME Space: An underrated hidden gem with free massage chairs and work desks—it became my daily secret hideaway 💆♀️
- Sava Spa Massage Experience: Non-guests can book this highly-rated spa experience
🛏️ Room Tour|My Favorite Indigo Room Yet!
This luxurious five-star beachfront resort is a prime example of Bali’s high-end yet affordable charm. Starting from around USD$170 in the off-season, it offers great value for money!
Hotel Indigo has a total of 289 rooms and villas, each with a balcony or terrace, and cleverly incorporates Balinese design elements like wood carvings, textiles, and local artwork. Rooms are fully equipped with air conditioning, a minibar, coffee and tea, movie channels, a hairdryer, and premium amenities.

✅ Pros
- Strong, bold room design—my favorite Indigo so far (beats Alishan, Dazhi, etc.)
- Huge balcony with a drying rack for swimsuits
- Impeccable cleanliness, cleaned twice daily; turndown service even refolds clothes and changes towels

❗ Minor Drawbacks
- Bathtub is not standard, which is a bit of a letdown
- Only one sink
- The ceiling fan above the bed feels slightly oppressive visually
🌅 Beachside Living & Final Thoughts

Provided by Li Danny
From the moment I stepped into Indigo Seminyak, I knew this was no ordinary hotel. The entire property feels like a work of art, with surprises hidden everywhere—from the pool, water bar, beach, and magical lounge to a secret space with free massage chairs. Every day brings a new discovery.
🌴 The beach is just a few steps from the hotel, with fine, clean sand—perfect for catching the sunset.
🥐 For breakfast, I recommend trying the à la carte options at Sugarsand—the flavors and atmosphere are absolutely fantastic.
🛏 The rooms are spacious, stylishly designed, and meticulously cleaned. I stayed three nights and couldn’t bear to check out.
