During my trip to Bali, I stayed at Potato Head Suites & Studios in Seminyak. Upon entering the hotel, I was immediately captivated by the lobby—its open and spacious design, paired with minimalist natural decor, instantly put me at ease. The hotel also features a complimentary ‘Jamu Station,’ offering traditional Indonesian herbal drinks called jamu, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the unique atmosphere of the local culture.

After a quick check-in process, we headed to our room. The hallway, like the lobby, features an open design, ensuring good airflow and natural light. We booked the ‘Sunrise Suite,’ and upon entering, the first thing we noticed was a dedicated luggage area, along with comfortable bathrobes and slippers—thoughtful touches that were much appreciated.
The room offered ample storage space, making it easy to organize our belongings. The hotel also provided a safe, a beach bag, and hats—perfect accessories for travelers exploring Bali.

In the center of the room was a large bed, flanked by a TV and a large window that let in natural light, brightening up the space.

At the foot of the bed, there was a small sofa and seating area, as well as a small balcony. While the balcony wasn’t large, it was sufficient for drying clothes and towels.
The room connected to a spacious bathroom, which was well-equipped. In addition to a large sink, the bathroom featured eco-friendly amenities made from locally recycled bottles. The large showerhead came with complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, ensuring a comfortable and refreshing bathing experience.

It’s worth noting that the room features a desk, convenient for guests who need to work. Additionally, they provide complimentary water, iced tea, and coffee-making facilities, along with a cocktail-making set.

The room even has an ice bucket!
The hotel thoughtfully prepared a ‘zero waste’ kit, including sunscreen, hand sanitizer, and other essentials, which can be replenished anytime, making it very eco-friendly.

The wooden and natural aesthetic throughout the room reflects a meticulous design philosophy. The hotel also houses several restaurants and a rooftop bar, where we enjoyed a few cocktails and snacks while admiring the evening scenery before returning to our room for dinner.
The next morning, breakfast was served outdoors, overlooking the beautiful beach, with a private pool exclusively for guests. We indulged in a variety of Western and Balinese options, starting the day on a delightful note.
In addition to the diverse dining options, the hotel is well-equipped with facilities, including a spa and gym. Of course, the main reason for staying here is the Potato Head Beach Club. As guests, we could access the beach club anytime, enjoying the infinity pool and lounge areas.

We spent unforgettable twilight moments here, watching the sun slowly set and the sky painted with beautiful hues. Our stay was thoroughly enjoyable, and we look forward to returning to Potato Head Suites & Studios to experience its unique charm once again.
