YouTuber Yo’s recently shared his travel experience in Bali, introducing his journey in a detailed way that allows viewers to better feel the unique charm of Bali.
He mentioned that his previous impression of Bali wasn’t good, as his brief stay in Kuta made him feel the place was overly commercialized and lacked a relaxed atmosphere. However, after the pandemic, he decided to revisit Bali, setting aside his preconceptions to fully experience everything the island has to offer.

During this trip to Bali, Yo’s stayed at a hotel in Ubud, surrounded by beautiful rice fields and away from the noisy main roads. The hotel offered a wide range of services, including SPA, yoga, and afternoon tea, and even motorcycle rentals, all of which Yo’s found very satisfying.
During this trip, he was particularly looking forward to exploring Bali’s natural attractions more deeply. He enjoys riding motorcycles, which allows him to freely visit various places, experience the changing scenery, and get close to the daily lives of locals. Along the way, the spectacular rice terraces left a deep impression on him. Yo’s introduced these terraces as one of Bali’s most iconic landscapes, attracting countless tourists to take photos.

Yo’s also shared his understanding of the Subak system, an agricultural technique behind the terraces. This system has been in place since the 9th century, using intricate channels to distribute water resources to different fields, ensuring each rice plant gets sufficient water. The success of this rice cultivation system is also closely tied to local community cooperation. This system was listed as a World Cultural Heritage site in 2012.

During his journey, Yo’s also visited several waterfalls in the island’s remote areas. He enjoys the tranquility and healing that nature brings in these less crowded places. While exploring the waterfalls, he occasionally encountered local vendors, like the sisters selling durian. He stopped by the roadside to taste the local durian, finding it much cheaper and more delicious than elsewhere.
However, on the way to the Kuta area, Yo’s encountered severe traffic congestion. At this point, the driver told him about the tragic event that happened on this day… We won’t spoil it here; you can enjoy Yo’s profound and warm video for yourself:
Yo’s trip to Bali not only allowed him to rediscover the beauty and charm of this land but also deepened his understanding of the lives and history of the local residents. His video shows viewers a more authentic and richer Bali.
