🎵 Taiwan Beats 2026 Lands in Bali! Taiwan’s Music Industry Connects with Indonesia

Supported by Taiwan’s Ministry of Culture’s Bureau of Audiovisual and Music Industry Development (BAMID), Taiwan Beats 2026 is currently underway in Bali and Jakarta, hosting the Taiwan–Indonesia Music Exchange & Business Matching event.

On August 22, the event took place at Biji World Ubud in Gianyar, featuring Taiwanese musicians LINION (Taiwanese R&B/Neo-Soul artist, singer, and producer) and MANAGONA (herbal pharmacist) performing alongside Bali’s Rhythm Rebels, Robokids, and Adam Alydrus.

But this event is more than just ‘coming to Bali to perform.’

Taiwan Beats also arranged Business Matching sessions, industry forums, music industry visits, and Showcases, enabling direct exchanges between Taiwan’s music scene and Bali’s and Indonesia’s musicians, record labels, festival curators, venues, and creative industry players. The entire Taiwan–Indonesia Music Exchange & Business Matching Event runs through August 25.

For Bali, this marks an intriguing shift: the island is not only a favorite travel destination for Taiwanese visitors but is also emerging as a key platform for Taiwan’s cultural and creative industries to enter the Indonesian market.

🏖️ Savaya Team Expands to Kuta! New Zumana Beach Club Begins Soft Opening

The Kuta coastline has recently gained a new name: Zumana Beach Club.

Zumana is created by the renowned Savaya team, though it’s a different brand and venue from Savaya on the Uluwatu cliffs. This new beach club sits along the Kuta coastline, focusing on ocean views, dining, and nightlife experiences.

Zumana has already welcomed its first guests since August 19, but it’s currently in a preview run / soft opening phase.

In other words, if you’re staying in Kuta soon, you don’t need to wait until late September to check it out; but if you’re aiming for the official opening party, you’ll have to wait until September.

According to the latest data from InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), the Nusa Dua area recorded 1,798,004 visitors in the first and second quarters of 2026, an increase of 8.16% compared to the same period last year.

This figure not only includes hotel guests but also reflects the total visitor count for the entire resort area.

Nusa Dua still maintains a different positioning from Kuta, Seminyak, and Canggu—it’s a hub for large international resorts, beaches, conferences, and high-end tourism facilities.

If you’re looking for a quieter, more resort-oriented area in Bali, Nusa Dua remains a solid choice.

According to NusaBali, she was deported from the Denpasar Immigration Detention Center (Rudenim Denpasar) on August 21. An immigration investigation revealed that she had overstayed her visa.
