This trip to Bali was a journey full of surprises and emotions for our family of four. As someone who has set foot on this beautiful island four times now, we still managed to discover new joys and touching moments here. A special thanks to the admin and members of the “Go Bali Go Bali Travel” group for their abundant sharing, which helped us plan such a perfect itinerary!
Trip Highlights & Recommended Attractions
Here are a few highlights from this Bali trip, along with attractions our family found worth recommending:
GWK Cultural Park – Spectacular Views & Photo Paradise

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
This time we specially arranged a visit to the GWK Cultural Park. It not only boasts magnificent cultural heritage but also countless scenic spots perfect for photos. The park is huge, so we strongly recommend taking the shuttle bus to easily and enjoyably explore every attraction.

White Water Rafting — A Thrilling Yet Heartwarming Adventure

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
The rafting trip we booked on Klook, “Red Paddle Bali Adventure,” exceeded all expectations. The guides were not only professional but also incredibly attentive. When our eldest son felt a bit unwell during the trip, the guide kept checking on him, which put us at ease. The guides on other rafts were just as friendly—splashing water and racing each other, turning the two-hour rafting adventure into a joyride. We even met travelers from Saudi Arabia and South Korea, chatting and laughing together. It was a fantastic chance to practice our English and Korean—so much fun!

Our Driver’s Thoughtful Service — Fulfilling Every Wish

Our private driver, Teja, not only made our dreams of rice terraces and swings come true in one go but also took us to many hidden scenic spots. The swing at the rice terraces was especially breathtaking, with stunning views and long-tailed dresses available for rent. I instantly felt like a fairy—it was absolutely dreamy!

Paperhills Café – A Spectacular View with a Stroke of Luck

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
At Paperhills Café, we were lucky enough to witness the magnificent Mount Batur in all its glory—the entire profile of this active volcano was crystal clear, truly awe-inspiring. The café has four levels, each offering picture-perfect photo spots. Wearing our own outfits, we could snap Instagram-worthy shots anywhere. The beauty of hiring a private driver is that we could bring along all our gear, big and small, capturing beautiful moments anytime, anywhere.

Rijasa Agung Resort and Villas – The Perfect Blend of Tranquility and Comfort

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
During our stay in Ubud, we checked into Rijasa Agung Resort, nestled along the Ayung River. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sound of flowing water, which was incredibly relaxing. The temperature here was just right, and our family room came with a private pool, garden, and a bale (relaxation pavilion). The space was so vast—easily over 300 square meters—that it offered incredible value for money, leaving our whole family thoroughly satisfied.

Jungle Cart – A Unique Bali Experience
Many people have tried go-karting, but driving directly through the jungle roads of Ubud is a new experience exclusive to Bali! We sped through rice paddy scenery, with a lead car blasting music to check the road ahead. Along the way, chickens scurried, cows lazily mooed, and though the 30-minute ride was short, it was packed with endless fun.

Driver Recommendations – Kang Ge and Te Jia’s Thoughtful Service

Top photo: The leftmost person is ‘Te Jia.’ He doesn’t talk much but answers every question—I think that’s great! Bottom: The one in the yellow shirt is ‘Kang Ge’—super friendly and easy to chat with, making our first day feel relaxed and comfortable (provided by Lin Xiaozhao).
A special thanks to our drivers Kang Ge and Te Jia. From airport pickup to daily itinerary planning, they were incredibly friendly, punctual, and thoughtful. Kang Ge even called to check on my eldest son when he caught a cold, offering to take us to a doctor or buy medicine—such touching service. Te Jia carefully communicated the itinerary with me before the trip and proactively helped book restaurants, arrange rafting, massages, and the jungle cart experience, making everything smooth and enjoyable.
Final Thoughts
This Bali trip, enriched by the information shared in the ‘Go Bali Go Bali Travel’ Facebook group and the full-time support of our drivers, gave us a relaxing and unforgettable vacation. Every journey creates unique memories, and this Bali trip is undoubtedly one of our family’s most precious. We look forward to stepping onto this enchanting land again and exploring its endless beauty.
