National Intelligence Agency and Immigration Deployed! Authorities Seize Illegal Foreign-funded Medical Aesthetics Clinic in Badung (Involving Illegal Employment of Foreign Doctors): According to the latest enforcement report from Indonesia’s state news agency Antara News and the Ministry of Health, the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Immigration, Ministry of Manpower, and the National Intelligence Agency (BIN) recently conducted a high-level multi-agency joint raid, successfully shutting down an illegally operated foreign-funded medical aesthetics clinic, ‘PRIME Skin Clinic’ (formerly Elasto Beauty), in the tourist hotspot of Badung. Investigations confirmed that the facility was not registered in the Ministry of Health’s medical facility system and lacked proper operating permits. More critically, multiple foreign medical personnel from Russia and Armenia were found on-site, performing high-risk medical procedures without holding official Indonesian medical practice licenses (SIP) and registration certificates (STR). Ministry of Health spokesperson Aji emphasized that this tough enforcement not only protects public safety but also upholds Bali’s international reputation as a ‘safe, high-quality, and trustworthy wellness tourism destination.’ The foreign personnel involved have been handed over to Immigration for detention and deportation proceedings.
