This trip to Bali was filled with surprises and touching moments for our family of four. As travelers visiting this beautiful island for the fourth time, we still managed to find new joys and moving experiences. Special thanks to the admin and members of the ‘Go Bali Go Bali Travel’ group for their rich sharing, which helped us plan such a perfect itinerary!
Trip Highlights & Recommended Attractions
Here are some highlights from our Bali trip and attractions we highly recommend:
GWK Cultural Park — Spectacular Views & Photography Paradise

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
We specifically arranged a visit to GWK Cultural Park, which not only boasts magnificent cultural heritage but also countless scenic spots perfect for photography. The park is vast, so we strongly recommend taking the shuttle bus to comfortably enjoy every attraction.

Rafting Adventure – A Blend of Excitement and Warmth

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
Our “Red Paddle Bali Adventure” rafting trip booked through Klook exceeded all expectations. The guides were not only professional but also incredibly thoughtful. When our eldest son felt unwell during the journey, the guide continuously checked on him, making us feel completely at ease. The guides on other rafts were equally friendly, engaging in water fights and races, filling the 2-hour rafting experience with laughter. We also met travelers from Saudi Arabia and South Korea, and our conversations were delightful. This experience allowed us to practice our English and Korean, making it truly enjoyable.

Exceptional Service from Our Driver, Teguh – Fulfilling All Our Wishes

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
Our private driver, Teguh, not only fulfilled our wishes to visit the rice terraces and swing but also took us to many hidden gems. At the rice terrace swing spot, the scenery was breathtakingly beautiful, and they even offered long-tail dress rentals, instantly transforming me into a fairy-tale princess. It was absolutely magical!

Paperhills Café – A Stroke of Luck with Stunning Views

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
At Paperhills Café, we were fortunate to witness the majestic Mount Batur, an active volcano, in its full glory—truly awe-inspiring. The café has four levels, each offering perfect photo opportunities. Dressed in our own outfits, every shot here turned out Instagram-worthy. The advantage of having a private driver is that we could bring all our gear, capturing beautiful moments anytime, anywhere.

Rijasa Agung Ubud Hotel – The Perfect Blend of Serenity and Comfort

Provided by Lin Xiaozhao
During our stay in Ubud, we chose the Rijasa Agung Hotel, located by the Ayung River. Every morning, we woke up to the soothing sound of flowing water, which brought us immense relaxation. The temperature here is just right, and our family room came with a private pool, garden, and a Balinese-style gazebo. The space was incredibly spacious, easily exceeding 10,000 square feet, offering exceptional value for money. Our entire family was thoroughly satisfied with our stay.

Jungle Cart – A Unique Bali Adventure
Many people have tried go-karting, but driving through the jungle roads of Ubud is a truly unique Bali experience! We raced through rice field landscapes, with a lead car playing upbeat music to help us navigate the route. Along the way, we encountered chickens scattering, dogs barking, and cows lazily mooing. Although the 30-minute experience was brief, it was packed with endless fun.

Recommended Private Driver – Kang and Te’s Thoughtful Service

Top photo: The person on the far left is “Te.” He doesn’t talk much, but he’s always ready to answer questions, which I found great! Bottom photo: The man in the yellow shirt in the middle is “Kang.” He’s super friendly and easy to chat with, making us feel relaxed and at ease from the very first day (photo provided by Lin Xiao Zhao).
We are especially grateful to our private driver, Kang Ge, and Te Jia, who were incredibly friendly, punctual, and thoughtful throughout our trip, from airport pickup to daily itinerary arrangements. Kang Ge even called to check on my eldest son when he caught a cold and offered to take us to see a doctor or buy medicine. Such service was truly touching. Te Jia communicated meticulously with me before the trip, proactively helped book restaurants, and arranged rafting, massage, and go-karting activities, making the entire process smooth and enjoyable.
Conclusion
This Bali trip was made relaxing and unforgettable thanks to the information shared in the ‘Go Bali Go Bali Travel’ group and the companionship of our private driver. Every journey creates unique memories, and this Bali adventure is undoubtedly one of our family’s most cherished experiences. We look forward to returning to this enchanting island and exploring its endless beauty once again.
