Imagine escaping the hustle and bustle of daily life and immersing yourself in the enchanting world of Cretya and Alas Harum. This destination is perfect for both adventure seekers and those looking for a peaceful retreat.

Affiliated with Alas Harum, Cretya Ubud is an absolutely secluded, luxurious, and fun three-tiered pool club that allows you to enjoy tranquility while escaping the noise and immersing yourself in the beauty of nature.

This kind of upscale pool club usually doesn’t come cheap! Let’s talk about how to enjoy the luxurious pool club at Cretya Ubud without spending a fortune.

The entrance fee for Alas Harum is approximately USD$3.50, which grants you access to all facilities at Alas Harum. The Cretya Ubud pool club offers various options, including cabanas, daybeds, hammocks, and VIP lounges, where you can sip your favorite cocktail while enjoying the surrounding natural beauty. Yet, we managed to spend only USD$20 (no minimum spend) for a poolside spot, including food and drinks. How did we do it?

Make sure to arrive early to snag the best seat! This prime spot is located right by the lower-level pool, facing the storage shelves and changing rooms. It’s the perfect spot—shaded and with direct pool access, saving you from spending over $200 on a daybed under the scorching sun. These seats have no minimum spending requirement, meaning you don’t need to spend extra!

Things to Note

Before you come here, there are a few things you should know. Alas Harum is family-friendly, but Cretya is primarily for adults. The three-tiered pool area, which includes bars and restaurants, is restricted to guests aged 18 and above.

In the pool area, visitors no longer need to carry their passports. However, ID checks may still be conducted. So, remember to bring some form of identification, especially if you think you look particularly young. If you plan to book a floating breakfast at 7 AM, be prepared for the pool water to be very cold! Even under the midday sun, the water remains chilly. Also, there are no lockers here, only open shelves. So, it’s advisable not to bring any valuables. Additionally, keep in mind that the shelves can get crowded during peak hours.
