【Seminyak Hotel Recommendation】Potato Head Suites & Studios Stay Experience

Bottom Line: Potato Head Suites & Studios in Seminyak is a five-star property, featuring a complimentary Indonesian herbal drink station (Jamu Station) in the lobby, an open-air design for natural ventilation, and thoughtful in-room amenities like bathrobes, a safe, and a beach bag. It’s perfect for travelers who love a beach club vibe but still want quality accommodations.

During my trip to Bali, I stayed at Potato Head Suites & Studios in Seminyak. As soon as I stepped into the hotel, I was captivated by the lobby—an open, spacious design with simple natural decor that instantly put me at ease. There’s also a complimentary ‘Jamu Station’ offering traditional Indonesian herbal drinks, letting you experience the unique local atmosphere from the get-go.

Potato Head Suites & Studios Welcome Lobby

After a quick check-in, we headed to our room. The hallway, like the lobby, features an open design that allows for good airflow and plenty of natural light. We booked the ‘Sunrise Suite’—upon entering, we first saw a dedicated luggage area, along with cozy bathrobes and slippers, with thoughtful touches throughout.

The room offers ample storage space for our luggage and belongings. The hotel also provides a safe, beach bag, and hat—perfect accessories for any Bali traveler.

A large bed sits at the center of the room, with a TV and large windows by the bedside that let in natural light, making the space feel even brighter.

At the foot of the bed, there’s a small sofa and seating area, plus a compact balcony—small but enough to hang clothes and towels to dry.

The room connects to a spacious bathroom, fully equipped with a large vanity and eco-friendly amenities made from locally recycled bottles. The large rain shower features complimentary shampoo, conditioner, and body wash, allowing for a comfortable bathing experience.

Notably, the room also includes a desk, convenient for travelers who need to work. Additionally, complimentary water, iced tea, and coffee facilities are provided, along with a cocktail mixing set.

There’s even an ice bucket in the room!

The hotel thoughtfully offers a ‘zero-waste’ kit, including sunscreen and disinfectant alcohol, which can be refilled anytime—very eco-friendly.

The room’s wooden and natural aesthetics reflect a meticulous design philosophy. The hotel also features several restaurants and a rooftop bar, where we enjoyed a few cocktails and snacks while taking in the evening views before heading back to the room for dinner.

The next morning, breakfast was served outdoors overlooking the beautiful beach, with a private pool for guests. We enjoyed a rich selection of Western and Balinese flavors, starting the day perfectly.

Beyond the diverse dining options, the hotel is well-equipped with a spa and gym. Of course, the main reason to stay here is Potato Head Beach Club. As guests, we could visit the beach club anytime, enjoy the infinity pool, and use the lounge areas.

We spent an unforgettable twilight moment here, watching the sun slowly set as the sky painted with beautiful colors. This stay was incredibly enjoyable, and we had a wonderful time. We look forward to returning to Potato Head Suites & Studios to experience its unique charm again.
