On this Bali trip with my parents, the main focus was on mountain landscapes and local culture, so we spent most of our time in the Ubud area. Only toward the end of the trip did we gradually move toward the airport, choosing to relax at a hotel near the southern beach. I personally used the driver for the relaxed first and last days of my trip, while for the longer excursions in between, I hired a Chinese-speaking guide named Ani for full-day support. During pre-trip communication, you can also flexibly use ChatGPT or Google Translate to ensure both sides clearly understand each other’s needs.

- Activity Requests If you have specific day trips or other activities in mind, feel free to discuss them with your driver or guide. They’ll help arrange everything smoothly, so you can just follow along without worrying about the details.
- Transparent Pricing The private car service fees for this trip were clear and transparent, adjusted based on the daily route and settled each day. Entrance fees and additional day trip costs were calculated separately and could be discussed and confirmed before departure.
- Thoughtful Company of Chinese-Speaking Guide Ani On the tours Ani accompanied, she stayed with us throughout and shared insights into Bali’s culture, history, and customs. This companionship was especially valuable for me and my elderly family members! Plus, if we wanted to buy souvenirs, Ani would take us directly to purchase them or buy them on our behalf based on photos we provided. It’s best to let her know in advance so she can arrange it properly.
- Attentive Communication and Photography Ani and the driver not only helped take photos throughout the trip but also communicated with hotel front desks about accommodation details, so we didn’t have to worry about language barriers.
- Local Traffic and Driver Skills Traffic in Bali can sometimes be congested, especially in the city, but the driver was very steady and reassuring even on mountain roads. We were also lucky to encounter almost no traffic jams during this trip.
- Companionship Like Family Throughout the journey, the driver and guide cared for us like family or friends, making the trip not only smoother but also incredibly relaxing. I’m grateful for their company and support during this trip.
【Conclusion of the Trip】
