Bali is about to host an unprecedented carnival extravaganza—the 2024 Bali Carnival, scheduled from September 26 to October 2 in the beautiful Nusa Dua. This grand event will perfectly blend Caribbean passion with Bali’s rich culture, offering visitors an unparalleled visual and auditory feast.

One of the highlights of this carnival is the flavor brought all the way from Trinidad & Tobago. During the event, eight themed activities will be held, along with a multicultural street parade. Bali Carnival: The First Caribbean Carnival in Southeast Asia

This carnival marks the first Trinidad & Tobago-themed carnival in Southeast Asia and Australia, attracting revelers from around the world to gather in Bali and witness this historic moment. The birth of this carnival is credited to Ethan Auguste, founder of Caribbean Vybez. Auguste first visited Bali in 2019 and decided to make it the new home of Trinidad & Tobago culture in Southeast Asia. He introduced Caribbean culture to the UAE back in 2009 and has now brought Trinidad & Tobago’s Soca music and carnival culture to Bali.

A Cultural Feast from Trinidad & Tobago

The 2024 Bali Carnival will be held from September 26th to October 2nd at the Renaissance Bali Hotel in Nusa Dua. The event will kick off with a welcome ceremony, followed by the first day’s white-themed party, Glow, at the hotel’s Atomic 13 pool.

Revelers will don exquisite costumes designed by carnival designer Aaron Schneider and made in Bali, participating in a parade inspired by ‘The Greatest Show on Earth’—the Trinidad and Tobago Carnival. After the parade, an authentic Trini-style carnival party will continue late into the night.

The next day, the Bali Color Festival will feature a special J’ouvert event on the beach, followed by a Caribbean Soul concert that will bring together top artists from the Caribbean region, perfectly concluding the carnival.
