”Peaceful Environment”
The location is very quiet, about 20 to 30 minutes from central Ubud (even though it’s not far, locals use Grab for transfers). The private villa we stayed in was very comfortable. If you don’t like insects, I’d recommend a standard hotel, but honestly, most resorts in Ubud have plenty of bugs. The staff here are incredibly friendly, and overall, it’s a great value resort.

“An Amazing Stay”
For us, this stay was an unforgettable experience. Shortly after we checked in, the entire island of Bali had a sudden blackout—we almost thought we’d have to shower with pool water, but luckily the power was restored in less than an hour. If you can handle a few small bugs and the slightly less convenient entrance, I think this hotel has almost no downsides.
The staff are very warm, and the hotel is deeply connected to nature. If I had no plans for the day, I could easily spend the whole time relaxing at the hotel. Since it’s a newly opened property, the facilities are all brand new, and I never had any issues with hot water during my stay. In short, if you’re coming to Bali, I recommend Ubud; and if you’re in Ubud, I recommend E Sanctuary Resort.
