This cliffside resort at Bali’s southern tip is most famous for its three-tiered infinity pool extending towards the sea. The video highlights the iconic “Bird’s Nest Bar”—a prime sunset viewing spot where mixologists serve signature cocktails with the vast Indian Ocean beneath.
The 2150 sq ft standalone villa is stunning: the outdoor shower area is surrounded by tropical plants, and the private pool faces the ocean view. Upon check-in, there’s a special ceremony where staff present your passport and credit card in an exquisite wooden box.
For dining, Warung restaurant’s Indonesian cuisine comes highly recommended. The chef grills lobster on volcanic stones on-site, served with special sambal sauce. The video also captured an amusing moment when monkeys suddenly invaded the pool area.
Although the resort doesn’t have a beach, the cliffside SPA center makes up for it. Notably, the entire resort’s drainage system is specially designed so that even when waves crash against the shore, guests won’t get wet.

Guest Reviews
Having visited Ayana and many other villas, this is probably the most amazing villa we’ve ever stayed at. Although the weather wasn’t great - overcast and rainy - it didn’t diminish the villa’s magnificent scenery, perched atop Uluwatu cliffs. Every penny was worth it - we enjoyed Bali’s most beautiful views, fantastic breakfasts, thoughtful service, and shuttle service between the villa rooms and main area. The villa is spacious and well-maintained; we took maternity photos here and can’t wait to see the results. The facilities are abundant, with the cafe/Cire restaurant right next to the main pool. We had breakfast with cousins while overlooking the cliffs and blue sky - an unforgettable experience for all of us. The villa’s coffee and breakfast are top-notch; I had the best croissant in Bali here. I must bring my mother here soon. If full marks are 10, I’d give it 11!
