Perched on the southern cliffs of Bali, this resort is best known for its three-tiered infinity pool that stretches toward the sea. The video highlights the iconic ‘Nest Bar’—at sunset, it becomes the ultimate viewing platform where the bartender serves you a signature cocktail, with the Indian Ocean a hundred meters below.
The 65-ping standalone villa is stunning: an outdoor shower area surrounded by tropical plants, and a private pool facing the ocean. Upon check-in, there’s a special ritual—staff present your passport and credit card in an exquisite wooden box.
For dining, the Indonesian dishes at Warung restaurant come highly recommended. The chef grills lobster right in front of you on volcanic stone, paired with a special sambal sauce. The video also captures a funny moment when a monkey suddenly dashes into the pool area.
Although the resort doesn’t have a beach, the cliffside spa center more than makes up for it. Notably, the entire resort’s drainage system is specially designed so that even when waves crash against the cliffs, guests stay dry.

Having been to Ayana and many other villas, this is probably the most breathtaking villa we’ve ever stayed in. Although the weather wasn’t great—overcast and rainy—it didn’t diminish the villa’s magnificent views at all, perched atop the Uluwatu cliffs. Every penny was worth it; we had the most beautiful views in Bali, amazing breakfasts, attentive service, and a buggy to shuttle us between the villa and the main area every time we came and went. The villa is spacious and impeccably maintained—we even took maternity photos here and can’t wait to see the results. The facilities are abundant, with the café/Cire restaurant right next to the main pool. My cousins and I enjoyed breakfast while overlooking the cliffs and blue sky—it was an unforgettable experience for all of us. The coffee and breakfast quality at the villa were top-notch; I had the best croissant in Bali here. I definitely want to bring my mom here soon. On a scale of 1 to 10, I’d give it an 11!
