Recently, Poon, a member from our Facebook group, shared his travel experience in Bali, emphasizing the importance of travel safety, especially the risks associated with riding motorcycles. He reminded other travelers to be particularly cautious when traveling in Bali.

On his return trip, Poon encountered two injured travelers, both of Asian descent and young. These injured individuals were on the same flight back as Poon. While motorcycles are convenient, the incidence of accidents is quite high in unfamiliar environments.

The Convenience and Danger of Motorcycle Riding
Bali attracts countless tourists with its beautiful scenery and diverse culture, and motorcycles have become the preferred mode of transportation for many exploring this beautiful island. The flexibility of motorcycles allows travelers to easily navigate between various attractions, avoiding crowded traffic. However, this convenience also brings potential dangers.
Poon’s experience reminds us that while motorcycles are convenient, the risk of accidents significantly increases in unfamiliar places, especially where road conditions are complex and traffic rules differ from one’s home country.
