Bonus Highlight 14: Thalassotherapy Seawater Spa Pool

When visiting the Ayana Resort, you absolutely cannot miss the world-renowned Thalassotherapy Seawater Spa Pool. This warm seawater therapy pool, which harnesses natural seawater from the Indian Ocean, utilizes the concept of thalassotherapy. Through mineral-rich seawater, varying water temperatures, and powerful hydrotherapy jets, it helps relax muscles, improve blood circulation, and boost metabolism, providing complete physical and mental rejuvenation.
The entire spa pool features 12 hydrotherapy massage stations, including a counter-current walkway, jet massage, bubble bath, hydrotherapy bed, and shoulder and neck massage. Guests can follow the guided circuit to experience full-body relaxation from head to toe. Even better, the pool faces the magnificent Indian Ocean, allowing you to soak in warm seawater while enjoying breathtaking ocean views. For those wanting to experience Bali’s top-tier resort atmosphere, the Thalassotherapy Seawater Spa Pool is definitely worth adding to your must-visit list.
Bonus Highlight 15: Cashless Payment System
The current Bali AYANA resort has fully transitioned to a cashless payment system, offering travelers the primary advantages of ‘security’ and ‘convenience.’ Guests no longer need to carry large amounts of Indonesian rupiah cash while at the pool or beach, completely eliminating worries about losing wallets or paper bills getting wet, while also avoiding potential fraud risks at off-site currency exchange shops. Whether using credit cards, mobile payments, or charging expenses to their room number (Room Charge), this seamless payment process allows guests to immerse themselves more fully in the resort atmosphere, without being interrupted by tedious cash counting.
Additionally, the full adoption of digital payments has significantly boosted the resort’s operational efficiency and financial transparency. With contactless card swiping or QR code scanning, checkout at restaurants and shops has become much faster, and guests can clearly track every expense through electronic bills when checking out. Amid heightened health awareness, reducing physical currency contact also adds a layer of health protection to the journey. This model not only aligns with modern digital travel trends but also makes the services at this top-tier resort feel more streamlined and contemporary.
Bonus Highlight 16: Free AYANA Rewards Membership
This is my top-recommended money-saving tip!
Whenever I stay at AYANA, I always sign up for the free AYANA Rewards membership first, because most purchases within the resort come with a 10% discount.
Why is it a must? Because prices at restaurants and bars within the AYANA resort already include an additional 10% service charge + 11% government tax, meaning the final bill will be 21% higher than the menu prices. First-timers often get a shock when they see the bill.
While the membership discount can’t fully offset these extra charges, it can at least help you save a portion of the cost. If you plan to spend a few days within the resort—having lunches and dinners beyond breakfast, or visiting Rock Bar for a few drinks—the savings can really add up.
I recommend completing your membership registration before check-in. It’s free and comes with no downsides, making it a must-do little task when visiting AYANA.
