Jimbaran is a beautiful beach area in Bali, renowned for its stunning beaches, fresh seafood, and romantic sunsets. This location offers a variety of seafood restaurants where visitors can enjoy delicious meals by the sea while taking in the breathtaking ocean views. Additionally, due to its proximity to Bali’s international airport, diners can also watch planes take off and land while enjoying their dinner.

Thus, Jimbaran Beach is an excellent sunset destination with numerous seafood restaurants to choose from. If you’re looking to savor fresh seafood dishes, here are…
11 Recommended Seafood Restaurants at Jimbaran Beach
Menega Cafe
For years, Menega has been one of Jimbaran’s most popular beach cafes. At first glance, it may not seem much different from other restaurants, but it consistently attracts a steady stream of visitors year-round. To secure a good table before the crowds arrive (usually around 5:30 PM), it’s best to arrive early. Additionally, placing your order early is crucial, or you might face a long wait! Almost every dish here is delicious. The giant prawns, spicy grilled snapper, and clams soaked in a flavorful garlic chili sauce are all outstanding! You can also enjoy Jimbaran’s sunset from your beachside table, making this place a perfect romantic dining spot.
Kisik Bar and Grill at Ayana Resort and Spa
Located within the Ayana Resort in Jimbaran Bay, Kisik Bar and Grill offers two of our favorite things: fresh, delicious seafood and stunning views of the bay. Kisik Bar and Grill serves a variety of freshly caught seafood, including large crabs, juicy oysters, and squid. The restaurant offers a set menu that includes complimentary appetizers and your choice of seafood. In addition to seafood, the restaurant also provides meat and vegetarian options. For the best experience, we recommend dining outdoors to enjoy the most beautiful views!
Cuca Restaurant
Cuca is known for its tapas-style dining, but don’t overlook its seafood dishes! Located near Kayumanis Jimbaran Inn, this restaurant offers three distinct dining areas: a food bar, traditional dining space, and garden lounge. Its location allows chefs to select the freshest daily catches, serving up perfectly grilled prawns, smoked squid, and seafood rice that has become a signature staple. We particularly love the open kitchen concept, where you can watch your meal being prepared from scratch while you wait! ▶ Check out Cuca’s special offers here.
Sundara Bali
While not exclusively a seafood restaurant, Sundara Bali consistently ranks as Jimbaran’s top spot for seafood. Situated within the Four Seasons Resort, Sundara Bali combines five-star dining with a relaxed beach club vibe. The restaurant’s open kitchen and semi-open dining area overlook the resort’s famous infinity pool. ▶ Four Seasons Resort Jimbaran Sundara Dining Offers.
Jimbaran Beach Club
For fresh seafood paired with stunning views of Jimbaran Bay, we highly recommend dining at Jimbaran Beach Club in Kupu Kupu Jimbaran Suites. Located right on Jimbaran Bay Beach, the club offers modern dining areas and sunset lounges where you can savor delicious seafood.
Warung Nyoman
Warung Nyoman, also known as Nyoman Café, is renowned for its affordable, simple, and fresh seafood offerings. The restaurant serves a variety of fresh seafood, prepared only when you order. You can choose from live lobster, prawns, large crabs, and squid, all grilled over hot charcoal. Must-try dishes include crab with sweet soy sauce, stewed fish, and fried squid!
Lia Café
If you love seafood, want to enjoy beautiful views, and don’t want to spend too much, you’ll likely enjoy Lia Cafe! Located away from the tourist bus crowds in the seafood restaurant area, it’s less crowded. This modest restaurant might look unassuming, but once you taste the seafood, you’ll fall in love with it! Xiao Jie dined at Lia Café in 2023, and a ten-person meal including tax and service fee was about USD$80, leaving everyone very satisfied!
Akua Bali Restaurant
Akua is not only one of the finest seafood restaurants in Jimbaran Bay but also a lifestyle destination that combines a bar, beach club, and restaurant! Inspired by Bali’s mesmerizing turquoise beaches, Akua is a Spanish restaurant featuring delicious tapas and freshly caught seafood. The restaurant offers spacious dining areas with stunning views of the bay.
Made Bagus Café Jimbaran
This is a popular restaurant located on Jimbaran Beach. They offer various set meals with clear pricing, and only a 10% tax is added at the end. The food is tasty and offers good value for money. Friends planning to visit Jimbaran can consider this spot. (Provided by Angel Wu)
Wr Mang Ayu ex Waroenk Djadoel
Many people have the impression that seafood at Jimbaran’s sunset is ‘expensive and not tasty,’ right? But Wr Mang Ayu (formerly Waroenk Djadoel) completely shatters this stereotype. This is our second visit to this small eatery. During our first visit in 2023, we casually ordered a simple meal with beer and were deeply impressed by the affordable prices and delicious flavors. This time, we specifically chose to have dinner here to welcome the sunset, and it still didn’t disappoint. For a $20 set meal, you get a lobster, a fish, four grilled prawns, clams, squid skewers, stir-fried vegetables, white rice, and a bottle of water. Although the lobster isn’t large, the flavor is uncompromised. The owner’s family is warm and friendly, and the priceless Jimbaran sunset made this meal the perfect memory for our last night in Bali. Tips for Choosing Restaurants
It’s important to note that while Jimbaran Beach offers a wide variety of dining options, most restaurants operate honestly. However, there is a small minority of dishonest vendors who try to take advantage of tourists by presenting higher-priced menus when they hear customers speaking English. This situation can occur in some popular tourist spots, so extra caution is advised when selecting a restaurant. Here are some preventive tips:

- Research Restaurants: Before heading to Jimbaran Beach, it’s recommended to do some online research to find well-reviewed and reputable restaurants. Reading online reviews and recommendations on travel websites can help you identify trustworthy establishments.
- Ask About Prices: Once seated, don’t hesitate to inquire about the price range or request to see the menu. This can help avoid any unpleasant surprises.
- Compare Prices: If you feel the prices are too high, try comparing prices at different restaurants. If there’s a significant discrepancy between establishments, it might be a red flag. The normal average cost per person should be around IDR 150,000
300,000 (USD$1020). - Use Translation Tools: If you’re unsure whether you’re being charged unfairly, you can use translation apps or tools to ensure both parties understand the prices and orders clearly.
- On-site Evaluation: When choosing a dining spot, you can also conduct an on-site evaluation beforehand. If you notice that a restaurant’s prices are significantly higher than similar establishments, it might be wise to reconsider dining there.
Additionally, for those who don’t enjoy seafood or can’t eat it, are there any recommended restaurants in Jimbaran? Yes! Check out Xiao Jie’s travelogue for recommendations on non-seafood dishes, beach-grilled corn, and other exciting content.
