This is a dining experience I must highly recommend!
Before the trip, I stumbled upon this Taiwanese-owned restaurant in a Bali community group, which convinced us to give it a try. Upon arrival, we ordered lobster, crab, and Thai river prawns. Every bite was astonishing—the lobster meat was springy and sweet, the crab was incredibly flavorful, and the subtle aroma of the prawn roe was irresistible. Two lobsters, two crabs, and 600g of Thai river prawns cost only about USD$32-65—truly great value!
Special mention goes to the owner, who generously delivered the signature lobster congee to my accommodation. Before leaving Bali, I enjoyed this congee at the airport for just USD$5, and it was unbelievably delicious! This place is absolutely worth a try!
Customer B: Highly Recommended Seafood
Mantis Shrimp In Bali, I tried mantis shrimp that were nearly 40 cm long. The meat was delicate and sweet, even sweeter than lobster, and sharing one between two people was just right.
Marble Goby Although marble goby costs more than grouper, its meat is incredibly tender, boneless, and very easy to eat. In Taiwan, a marble goby costs about USD$19, but here it’s only half that price.
Crayfish The crayfish in Bali come from the sea, with a firm, springy texture that rivals large wild lobsters. At about USD$6 each, it’s actually more worthwhile to enjoy eight crayfish here, as the meat quantity is double that of a large lobster.
Thai Prawns Although Thai prawns in Bali are smaller than those in Taiwan, their meat is more succulent and closer in texture to grass prawns.
Flower Crab I tried flower crab here—though not large, they were firm and sweet. The owner also offers cooked food delivery; a bowl of crayfish porridge costs only about USD$5.
Restaurant Summary
The seafood here can be enjoyed on-site, or you can opt for live seafood or cooked food delivery. If you don’t mind the effort, I recommend dining directly at the restaurant.

Many thanks to the lobster owner for the warm hospitality yesterday. I truly felt the big-hearted warmth of Taiwanese looking out for each other.
The average cost per person for this meal was under USD$32, which was incredible value. The table featured Thai prawns, lobster, squid, stonefish, and four other dishes, plus a pot of delicious soup. The lobster was sweet and juicy, the stonefish meat silky smooth—every bite was unforgettable. I’m so grateful for this culinary experience; it was truly a memorable feast.
