Choosing Timbis Beach in Uluwatu was absolutely the right decision! Not only is it Bali’s most famous paragliding spot, but the professional instructor team and comprehensive safety measures made me feel completely at ease for my first experience.

However, preparing for my first paragliding challenge still made me super nervous. After all, we were taking off from the edge of a cliff. But after the actual experience, I found that—it really wasn’t as scary as I imagined, and the scenery was so beautiful that it made me forget my fears!
🚁 Paragliding Experience Process
- Hotel Pickup & Check-in
-
- The driver arrived on time in the morning, and it took about an hour to reach Timbis Beach.
- After arrival, we signed a safety agreement, and the instructor explained the process (mainly in English, but gestures helped too).
- Gear Up & Takeoff Instructions
-
- The instructor helped me put on internationally certified safety harnesses and helmets, including a GoPro for recording the entire flight.
- Takeoff! The Thrilling Moment at the Cliff Edge
-
- No running required! The instructor led me to the slope at the cliff edge, adjusted the parachute lines, and with a gentle push when the wind came, we were instantly airborne!
- 10 Minutes in the Air, Enjoying the Breathtaking Ocean Views
-
- The instructor controlled the direction, and all I had to do was enjoy the scenery and take photos!
- Below me was the Indian Ocean, with water so blue it seemed to glow, and I could see the entire Uluwatu cliff—absolutely stunning!
- The instructor asked if I wanted **
⚠️ Tips & Suggestions

-

-
Age Limit: 5-66 years old
-
穿著:建議穿運動鞋,不要穿拖鞋或涼鞋。
-

-
體重限制:40-110公斤才能飛,太輕或太重都不行。
-
**年齡限制:**5歲-66歲
❌ What Not to Bring
- Backpacks or handbags (they can affect balance; small items can go in pockets).
- Selfie sticks or items that can easily fall.
💡 Other Reminders
- Weather plays a big role: Paragliding relies on wind, so flights may be canceled if the wind is too light or if it rains. It’s recommended to leave some backup time.
- If you’re scared, let your instructor know: They’re experienced and can fly more smoothly.
🌟 Experience: Safer and More Fun Than Expected!

I thought it would be terrifying, but it was incredibly stable, like floating gently in the air. The instructor was really nice and even pointed out the scenery in English. The most breathtaking part was seeing the Indian Ocean from above—that shade of blue is unforgettable!
If you like thrills, you can ask the instructor for spins; if you’re afraid of heights, a smooth flight is just as amazing. Highly recommended for beginners wanting to try paragliding—it’s not as scary as you might think, and the views are worth it!
Overall, highly recommended! I’d love to do it again the next time I visit Bali. 🪂💙
