After the pandemic, I’ve traveled to several countries, but this seven-day, six-night trip to Bali has become the destination I most want to revisit immediately. Whether it’s Seminyak, Ubud, or Canggu, each area has its own unique charm, offering travelers different experiences and memories.

The Enchanting Atmosphere of Seminyak
First, I arrived at the bustling Seminyak, where the vibrancy and modernity are undoubtedly emblematic of Bali. I chose to stay at Indigo Seminyak, a hotel with an excellent location just a short walk from the famous Double Six Beach. Every evening, sipping a drink while facing the beach and watching the sunset brought an indescribable sense of calm and relaxation. This leisurely lifestyle made me completely forget the hustle and bustle of daily life, truly feeling like a paradise getaway.

The pace of life in Seminyak is relaxed and free, from morning cafes to night bars, everything is full of energy and freshness. It’s also perfect for travelers who love shopping and exploring, as the streets are lined with trendy boutiques, allowing you to wander freely and enjoy the shopping experience.

Ubud Cultural Experience
Next, I headed to the cultural heart of Bali—Ubud. This place is filled with a strong artistic atmosphere and pastoral scenery, forming a stark contrast to the hustle and bustle of Seminyak. First, I visited the traditional market near Ubud Palace, where the stalls were brimming with everything from handicrafts to local specialties, offering delightful surprises at every turn. I recommend setting aside enough time to ‘treasure hunt,’ as each stall might hold the unique souvenir you’ve been dreaming of.
In the exotic alleys of Ubud, I stumbled upon two unforgettable restaurants—Kebun Bistro and Kusi. Both the food and ambiance of these places offered a distinct taste of Ubud. (Included in our curated “Ubud Guide Map” featuring over 20 food recommendations)

During our stay in Ubud at Kamala Resort, although some details were slightly lacking, the occasional visits from monkeys became one of the highlights. These little guests made the entire stay more lively and fun, especially suitable for nature lovers.

Ubud is not just synonymous with tranquility; at the Tegalalang Rice Terraces forest playground, you can also find the thrill and joy of nature. I spent an adventurous and laughter-filled afternoon here, and this place is definitely worth dedicating an entire day to explore.

Trendy Canggu
The final stop of our journey was Canggu, Bali’s most fashionable new area. The streets are lined with various boutique shops and cafes, each with its own unique design style that makes you want to explore further. Whether shopping or dining, Canggu’s diversity ensures every traveler finds something they love.
Staying at Komu Hotel, although the soundproofing was slightly lacking, allowing us to “enjoy” the noise from the nightclub in our room, the hotel’s modern design made for a great overall experience, especially for travelers who appreciate contemporary style, offering good value for money.

A Genuine Encounter with Driver Komang

Provided by Nianxin Shi
What touched me most during this trip was meeting our driver, Komang WikaSutresna. Before departure, I contacted several drivers, but only Komang responded the fastest and with the most detailed information. From quoting prices to itinerary planning, his sincerity and professionalism made me stop comparing prices because I knew I had found the perfect choice. He proactively reached out multiple times before departure to confirm the itinerary and remind me of important details, which made me feel very reassured. More importantly, Komang wasn’t just our driver—he became our friend in Bali.
Whether traveling with family or just with female friends, Komang will make you feel safe and trusted. I wholeheartedly recommend him to everyone!
