The well-known Hong Kong YouTuber “Crazy with YU芳婷” recently traveled to Bali, staying there for over ten days and experiencing a variety of exciting activities. In her video, she compiled a list of five must-do activities in Bali. Let’s follow her footsteps and explore the unique charm of Bali together.
First: Surfing Experience
The first must-do activity is experiencing surfing. The three of them took a surfing lesson in Canggu, which included a two-hour surfing session and the chance to witness the stunning Bali sunset. She marveled at the indescribable beauty of the sunset, with its distinct layers of colors, calling it the most breathtaking sunset she has ever seen.

Second: Island Hopping
The second activity she recommends is visiting Bali’s offshore island, Nusa Penida. To get there faster, they stayed in Sanur, which has a pier, making it just a 30-minute boat ride away. Early the next morning, they joined a day trip to Nusa Penida. Their first stop was Crystal Bay, a secluded paradise with no Wi-Fi, where they planned to fully immerse themselves in this earthly haven and temporarily forget the world. Upon arrival, they expected a small group of 30 to 40 people, but were surprised to find over 150 people disembarking together, resembling a flock of ducks. However, to their surprise, they were assigned to independent small tour vehicles, with four people per group, making the experience feel relaxed and comfortable.

After arriving at Nusa Penida, they leisurely enjoyed breakfast, drank beer, and played with stray dogs on the beach at Crystal Bay. Although she thought the beach scenery wasn’t particularly outstanding, the water was as clear as Long Ke Wan. Next, they visited other famous spots like Angels Billabong and Broken Beach. Despite the crowds, the geological landscapes were still breathtakingly stunning. Finally, they arrived at a dinosaur-shaped beach with sapphire-blue waters, where the sea displayed beautiful gradients of depth, leaving them in awe.
Third Bamboo Villa Accommodation

Experiencing unique accommodations in Bali is a must. They stayed in a rustic bamboo villa in Ubud, complete with a private pool, kitchen, and two bedrooms for just USD$250 per night - an incredible value. The villa’s design is ingenious, featuring a private pool right at the entrance, with a sofa area beside it perfect for hosting small gatherings. The second floor has an ensuite bathroom with floor-to-ceiling glass windows overlooking a natural shower area, creating a serene atmosphere. The terrace offers panoramic mountain views, making it an ideal spot for enjoying drinks while taking in the scenery.

Besides admiring the beautiful scenery, experiencing the swing is a must-do in Bali. They went to Aloha Ubud, which has a total of 6 swing photo spots. The ticket costs only USD$26 per person, and you can rent various wedding dresses to shoot dreamy wedding photos. The staff will carefully guide you on poses and angles to capture the best moment. Although girls can swing longer for photos, boys can only swing briefly to avoid danger. However, safety ropes ensure the safety of tourists.

Fifth: Instagrammable Waterfalls

The last stop of the trip is a hidden waterfall in Ubud. They had to walk a short mountain trail to see the panoramic view of the waterfall, which was crowded with photo enthusiasts. However, the site is equipped with basic facilities such as lockers, toilets, and changing rooms, which is very thoughtful. It only takes 5 minutes to reach the photo area of the waterfall. The waterfall staff are very professional and will guide you on shooting angles and poses. She was happy to tip for the best perspective. Next time, she suggests bringing an extra set of clothes because it gets cold after swimming in the waterfall.
The Ubud area is not only famous for its culture and art but also boasts breathtaking natural landscapes, among which waterfalls are a must-visit. Waterfalls are an ideal place to explore the beauty of nature and take Instagram-worthy photos. Away from the hustle and bustle of the city, wandering along the trails in the lush jungle feels like entering a mysterious realm. Standing in front of the waterfall, the splashing water and rushing currents make you feel the power of nature.
Through this vibrant Bali journey, Crazy with YU Fangting not only experienced surfing and admired various natural landscapes but also stayed in unique villas and swung on swings to capture dreamy wedding photos. The itinerary was packed with excitement. She also teased that the next episode would take viewers into the fascinating underwater world, exploring shipwrecks and Buddha statues while diving.
