Introduction to Bali’s Largest Art Wholesale Market, Kumbasari Art Market
On the second day of our Bali trip, we were ready to embark on a shopping adventure. Here’s our plan: we leisurely headed out at noon, first enjoying a hearty lunch at a small restaurant opened by our Bali driver, Gede Arimbawa, and his wife. After the meal, we were energized and ready for the next adventure!
In the afternoon, we visited Bali’s largest art wholesale market, Kumbasari Art Market (which closes at 5 PM daily). This market is fantastic to explore, offering a wide variety of Balinese handicrafts, paintings, and souvenirs. Whatever you’re looking for, you’ll find it here—from paintings to sculptures and various handmade items. Whether you’re buying something for yourself or looking for a special gift for friends or family, this is definitely the place to be!

In the evening, we also visited Bali’s largest night market, Pasar Kreneng. This night market is a collection of various snacks, clothes, and handicrafts, almost like an upgraded version of Taiwan’s night markets! The food here is so delicious that you won’t want to leave—it’s truly a culinary delight.
We returned to the riverside park at night, where the lights were twinkling, and the night view was stunning! Standing there, looking at the night scene of Bali, it felt like stepping into a dream world.
